MEChA

The MEChA Club, or Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Atzlan, is a club that provides a safe space for the Chicano culture within the school. The club aims to promote higher education, political involvement, cultural and historical understanding. MEChA students support each other academically, and help guide each other during social and emotional challenges they may face as high school students.

El Club de MEChA, o Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Atzlan, es un club que brinda un espacio seguro para la cultura chicana dentro de la escuela. El club tiene como objetivo promover la educación superior, la participación política y la comprensión cultural e histórica. Los estudiantes de MEChA se apoyan mutuamente académicamente y se ayudan mutuamente durante los desafíos sociales y emocionales que pueden enfrentar como estudiantes de secundaria.

The club meets in Room 118 at 8:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays. El club se reúne en la Sala 118 a las 8:30 a. m. el segundo y cuarto miércoles.
